A downtown hotel that is across the street from the Civic Center and mall and a short walk from the hustle and bustle of shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The room had plenty of outlets. It was tidy and clean.

I got a really good rate and room had been updated. One of my better buys when I compare cost to quality of room and location. $15 to park in the garage. Cookie was a very nice gentleman at the front desk. Close to a downtown area that has a lot of restaurants.

$100 pet fee for one dog is insane! Room was okay definitely outdated. I’m a chef the food was alright it came fast but cakes were dry and the Cesear salad dressing was good but the chicken added was like 4 pieces and dry, we did room service.

Stayed overnight in August on our way home to Virginia. We were greeted with a very nice front desk staff. Lobby looked well kept. Room was upper floor. Very clean and spacious. M Lounge for the night had a nice layout of cheeses and snacks, with a small hot meal of streak cubes and rice. Our server, Neccy Sheherd, has warm and friendly disposition and treats everyone like family. So sweet! Breakfast was incredible the following morning. Fast forward: Heading to Kentucky and this hotel just happened to be directly in between to our advantage. Arrive and was THRILLED Neccy was working. Will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

AC was a trooper, but the humidity was so high it still felt hot and stuffy. Bed was comfy. Desk was a nice set up. Parking garage elevator was a bit iffy, but not bad enough to keep us from using it a second time. The breakfast staff is fabulous. If we'd stayed longer, I would have gotten a gift for the sweet woman working there. She pointed out a clean table, poured our coffee while we got our plates, checked on us a few times. She was cheery and a delight even talking to a gentleman who was dismissive of her. She truly took care of those of us there. The concierge features were wonderful as well. The front desk staff were informative and helpful at check in. The wi-fi was rather hit or miss. It didn't work well with my tablet. Couldn't really watch a movie, even ads lagged to the point it died. Then it wouldn't reconnect for the rest of the evening/night. The food court in the mall is just a short walk, basically across a parking lot. This was good because the in hotel restaurant burnt my chicken (the remade chicken was not just correctly cooked but also a better piece of meat, and my partner's burger was well past well done when ordered medium well. I dislike sending food back, so my partner had to tell the waitress how bad it was since I couldn't bite it and cutting it was an issue as well. All in all, the 3 days we were there were good days and nights. Do wish we could have stepped out onto the balcony, but those are locked to the point they only open 4" for air flow.

Please understand, the negative facts about the hotel does in no way affect the level of service you receive. Corporate needs to step up and upgrade the interior. The staff are phenomenal and the level of service is exceptional. From Brittany and Caleb at the front desk ( sweeties) to the serving staff, they make you feel like number one. Breakfast was delicious and the brownies are pure happiness. I will stay again solely because of the staff.

The rooms are clean but definitely dated. The hotel could use a lot of updates. We had a sandwich at the restaurant and it was good. But I remember back in the day when it was a great place. It's now a shadow of it's former self.

Service was good. Hotel could use a face-lift but it was clean and room was comfortable and spacious. Self parking at attached garage was sketchy (because of construction zone) but improvement is obviously coming.
